• To produce and check Proposal and Layout Drawings, BOM's and calculations for new projects and existing equipment modifications.
Responsibilities and Duties
This includes but is not exclusive to:
• Producing Proposal/ Layout Drawings, BOM's, calculations for existing equipment modifications and new project role.
• Checking above work, dispositioning of NCR's, ERA's etc.
• Detailed design and layout work for modifications to existing systems or components or initiation of new components/ systems.
• Specification of materials, weldments etc.
• Provide backup for Engineers as part of in house Engineering/ Design Department.
• Ensuring materials, drawings etc are made available per given schedule for manufacture of equipment.
• Providing proposal packages, procedures and fabrication packages.
• Liaising with manufacturing/ sales/ service departments.
• Assisting with engineering problems encountered within these departments.
• Actively contribute to the creation, compilation and final closure of Engineering files in accordance with our clients requirements.
Essential Criteria
• Substantial experience in an Engineering Discipline within an oilfield manufacturing environment.
Qualifications/Training
• Essential: Minimum HND in Mechanical Engineering
• Desirable: BSc. 2.1 Mechanical Engineering.
