Job Description

  • Provide control and conduct work in full compliance with QHSSE regulations.
  • Ensure and timely advise management on laws, regulations, customer specific and contractual requirements and accepted codes of practice pertaining QHSSE issues.

  • Assist to department with introduction of safety inductions, required trainings and examination on labour protection and industrial safety of employees, development of training plan and program, records and data base keeping in accordance with corporate and government requirements.
  • Coordinate participation of Departments and Locations Management in internal and external Integrated Management System (IMS) audits, location sites regular inspections.  Provide for audits and inspections document control and improvements recommendations upon inspections results.
  • Coordinate and conduct audits and inspections of technical condition of PPE in compliance with local regulations and corporate requirements.
  • Participate in pre-qualifications and tender bid packages and ensure documentation compliance with the HSSE part of IMS.
  • Participate in the review of draft documentation related to HSSE requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of locally required HSSE manuals, local procedures, safe work instruction and job descriptions.
  • Co-ordinate preparation and timely submitting of all HSSE reports, observation cards, accident/incident/near miss reports, audit reports, HSSE programs and HSE action plans.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field with at least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably in the oil and gas/manufacturing industries.
  • Must possess a good track record and extensive knowledge in leadership roles to apply and execute HSSE management systems in compliance to local statutory health, safety and environmental regulatory requirements
  • Must have strong and effective oral and written communication and organizational skills and leadership qualities to make presentations and participate in conferences and industry associations.
  • Initiates improvement to current HSSE system when necessary in compliance to local statutory and corporate requirements.
